At The Urgent CARE, we strive to set a new standard in urgent care medicine for our community. We provide the most advanced, comprehensive medical services and treatments for all urgent medical needs. Our qualified staff is fully dedicated and deeply passionate about the comfort, needs and CARE of our patients. Most importantly, we believe our communities deserve access to affordable, convenient and top-quality patient CARE. Founded privately in 2004, we have served our community for more than 15 years and have expanded into surrounding communities to serve more patients. We have served more than 500,000 patients and will continue to be a leader in healthcare the Southern Louisiana area. As first responders to the COVID-19 pandemic, we established a high-complexity lab that allows us to provide testing quickly and affordably in-house; including providing vaccinations and COVID-19 treatment plans.

Urgent medical care clinics encompass a broad spectrum of general medicine, but mostly focuses on the stabilization, diagnosis and management of patients suffering from a minor illness or injury. Urgent care medical facilities are equipped to treat non-life threatening injuries and illnesses. See our page on the symptoms and conditions we commonly treat.

We provide affordable and convenient care for a variety of problems from coughs, fevers and nausea to arthritis, allergies and infections- or whether you just need an X-ray, laboratory test, medicine, or a simple physical. Medical treatments also provided for skin rashes, fevers and infections to gastrointestinal problems, burns, lacerations and simple fractures.

While urgent care medical clinic physicians are experienced in treating such problems and conditions, they should not take the place of your primary care provider or PCP. Urgent care clinics provides a convenient alternative when your primary physician is unavailable. Urgent care medical clinic facilities are not equipped to provide obstetrical care; long-term management for diabetes, hypertension and other conditions like cancer; or treatment for life-threatening illnesses or injuries. See our page on the symptoms and conditions we do not treat. Urgent care centers, including ours, are NOT emergency clinics. If you are having an emergency, never delay treatment from an emergency room. If you decide to go to an urgent care when you are having an emergency, whether you know it or not, you WILL be sent out to the closest emergency room.
