Bronchitis
Bronchitis is a condition in which the airways in the lungs, called bronchial tubes, become inflamed and cause coughing, often with mucus . Bronchitis can be acute (short-term) or chronic (long-term).
Symptoms
- Cough.
- Production of mucus (sputum), which can be clear, white, yellowish-gray or green in color — rarely, it may be streaked with blood.
- Fatigue.
- Shortness of breath.
- Slight fever and chills.
- Chest discomfort.
