On August 7th, The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, an office of The Department Of Defense, has recognized Douglas T. Mehaffie, MD for Patriotic Employment. Dr. Mehaffie was nominated by employee Ashley Rodrique-Troost, PA-C, a member of the Society of Army Physician Assistants and a former employee of Westbank Urgent Care. Ms. Rodrique-Troost is currently training with the US Army and preparing for her deployment this Fall. She will serve as a Physician Assistant and aid the medical needs of our troops.

Employer Support of The Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense office, encourages understanding and cooperation between The Reserve and the National Guard, and their employers. ESGR volunteers work to promote employer support for military service, foster a culture of support and value, and resolve arising conflicts. ESGR has more than 4,700 volunteers in the 50 United States and has served our country for more than 40 years.
