On August 7th, The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, an office of The Department Of Defense, has recognized Douglas T. Mehaffie, MD for Patriotic Employment.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Mehaffie was nominated by employee Ashley Rodrique-Troost, PA-C, a member of the Society of Army Physician Assistants and a former employee of Westbank Urgent Care. Ms. Rodrique-Troost is currently training with the US Army and preparing for her deployment this Fall. She will serve as a Physician Assistant and aid the medical needs of our troops.<\/p>\n Employer Support of The Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense office, encourages understanding and cooperation between The Reserve and the National Guard, and their employers. ESGR volunteers work to promote employer support for military service, foster a culture of support and value, and resolve arising conflicts.
