Basic Metabolic Panel
A basic metabolic panel are a series of blood tests that measure glucose level, calcium level, electrolyte level, blood urea nitrogen (waste products), and creatinine. The blood sample used in the testing is usually taken from a vein in your arm or hand.
The test provides information about your body’s metabolism. It can be useful as a part of a routine health examination or as helpful information in the emergency room.
If you are in need of a basic metabolic panel, call The Urgent Care.
