Our Policies

Our Mission

To provide high quality, urgent medical care in a professional, comfortable environment with compassion. At The Urgent Care, our providers are highly educated and well-trained to provide excellent compassionate care with the latest state-of-the-art technology. Timely, quality patient care is our top priority, and we are glad to accommodate your family’s medical needs.

no exceptions

ALL patients must present a valid identification or drivers license. ALL minors must be present with a parent or guardian.

insurANCES

Please look at our list of accepted insurances. We accept most major insurances but require that all co-pays or deductibles be payed at the time of service. If we do not participate with your insurance company, we ask that payment be made at the time of the services rendered and your insurance company will reimburse you any amount due.

auto accidents

As of 2019, very few insurances will cover auto-related injuries treated at an urgent care. However, we DO NOT accept auto accident claims as we do not accept car insurance. If your health insurance does not cover auto-accidents, we can still treat you as a private-pay patient (pay out of pocket) and you can submit documentation of your visit to your insurance for reimbursement.

medicare/medicaid

You must bring a valid identification card and bring your social security card or have knowledge of the number. Government-funded insurance does not cover all medical treatments such as injections, splints/crutches, and other medical materials. We will let you know during your visit

emergencies

The Urgent Care clinics are NOT emergency centers. If you are having a medical emergency, please call 911.If you show up at our clinic and your situation is an emergency, we will call 911 and have an ambulance take you to the nearest hospital of your choice. You will not be charged for your visit with us. However, if you have been checked-in and triaged and the provider has determined you have an emergency, we will call 911 and have an ambulance take you to the nearest hospital of your choice. You will be charged for your visit with us.

If you refuse to take an ambulance or refuse to go to the hospital, we will have you sign a waiver Against Medical Advice (AMA).
